In the deepest part of the forest, there was a big old manor. A manor where a feared monster lived. A monster like no other. A vampire with the form of a human being.
When the other monsters went out to hunt for human, the vampire chose to stay at his manor. When a monster died, the vampire hold a feast to celebrated the monster's death. Thus, he known as the monsters' lord.
One day, he heard a rumor about a monster hunter boy called The Red Riding Hood from a certain village. Curious, he came to the village and caused chaos. The vampire kidnapped the monster hunter and laid a curse on him.
When The Red Riding Hood came back to the village after a year, the villagers evicted him. It did left a huge scar on the boy's heart. With a feeling of betrayal, he returned to the vampire's manor. Of course, the vampire accepted him.
The vampire now lived with the ex-monster hunter. The boy told the vampire that he already accepted his fate and he wouldn't run away anymore. Once again, the vampire bought it. It wasn't because the vampire's stupid. But because the vampire trusted the boy.
Because the monster loved him.
Days had passed. The vampire lived his life normally. Of course with the ex-monster hunter. Everyday, the vampipre may looked rather carefree, but he pretty aware with the newcomer. He knew, sometimes, the boy tried to kill him with his axe. But he never could.
Although the vampire knew the boy's plan, he never mentioned it. He knew The Red Riding Hood wouldn't dare to cut his head off. Or at least he hoped so. In fact, the vampire treated the ex-monster hunter like a treasure.
One night, the vampire was passing the boy's room when he heard the ex-monster hunter cried. Of course, the tragedy left a big question mark in his head. The vampire thought and thought. After a few night had passed, the monster's lord decided to called The Red Riding Hood to his chamber for a chat.
The vampire had planned something. Something that he must not regret. He talked to the boy casually, except for the fact that he talked rather calm.
Not knowing that the boy noticed, he kept talking and talking. Told the ex-monster hunter about his long life. About how he suffered, how he hunt and being hunted, and so on. He tried his best not to let his lust controlled him.
The vampire stopped talking all the sudden, and kissed The Red Riding Hood gently. He told a white lie to the ex-monster hunter. Saying that he's going to gave the boy a big job tomorrow, and told him to sleep. The boy bought it and closed his eyes.
After he confirmed that the boy's asleep, he removed the ex-monster hunter's curse. Then, he carried The Red Riding Hood to a town far away from the manor, and put him in an empty hut.
The vampire looked at the boy's sleeping face for the last time. He bent down and whispered something to the ex-monster hunter before he kissed the boy's tender lip gently. With that, the vampire erased The Red Riding Hood's memory and leave. Back to his manor in the deepest part of the forest.
He knew he'll regret it. But he must not.
